Position: HR Officer

Educational Qualification: MSW, MLS, MBA, MPM

Experience: 3-6 years of experience in HR roles within the manufacturing industry.

Location: Ranjangaon, Pune

Key Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements and industrial relations in the manufacturing sector
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts (3 shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & Time Office Management:

  • Manage salary and wages of contract workers, ensuring statutory deductions and addressing employee grievances related to salary.
  • Oversee attendance, gate passes, leaves, and shift allocation for casuals.

Industrial Relations:

  • Promote healthy and proactive employee relations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for negotiating long-term agreements with unions.
  • Support line managers in handling employee grievances and facilitating resolutions.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Maintain monthly PF, ESIC & PT Challans and Half-Yearly Challans of MLWF.
  • Ensure renewal of RC and filing of annual returns under The Contract Labour Act 1970.
  • Maintain all required registers under The Factories Act, 1948.
  • Keep legal registers updated.

Contract Labour Handling:

  • Effectively manage contractual/casual/fixed-term workmen in compliance with labor laws.
  • Plan and execute contract labor hiring.
  • Monitor compliance related to PF & ESIC for contract workers.
  • Ensure safety and dress code adherence for contract workers.

Employee Engagement Activities:

  • Organize social activities, birthday celebrations, and medical check-ups.
  • Recognize staff and contract workers with Kaizen awards.
  • Award attendance bonuses to contract laborers.
  • Conduct monthly welfare activities and R&R programs.
